Complementary health benefit for CMRC retirees

- Who can receive this benefit?
- Eligible* retirees of the Caisse Monégasque de Retraite Complémentaire (CMRC) whose pension took effect before 1st October 2024

- What are the eligibility conditions?
- The retiree must:
- Receive a direct retirement pension from the CMRC for at least 240 months of actual or equivalent employment in Monaco,
- Have taken out a supplementary health insurance contract.
- Their household must have an annual income* of less than:
- 21 176.10€ for a single person
- 30 801.60€ for married persons.
- * during the period from 1st October 2023 to 30 September 2024
- The retiree must:
- Do I have to declare income other than my retirement pensions?
- Yes: all household income* is taken into account when assessing your application (retirement pensions, income from land, property, salaries, benefits, etc.)
- * during the period from 1st October 2023 to 30 september 2024
- How can I obtain an application form?
- The benefit application form is sent directly to eligible* retirees by post or posted on your Personal Space. It is therefore unnecessary to request it if you have not received it.

- When will I receive the benefit application form?
- If you may be eligible for this benefit, the application form will be sent to you during the first half of April 2025.
- How should I return my benefit application?
- The benefit application form and all supporting documents must be sent to the CMRC Pensions Department:
- By post: Service Retraite 11 rue Louis Notari 98000 MONACO or
- by posting it on your personal Insured space or
- Via the reception desk: from 8.30 am from April to June 2025 at the following address: Immeuble Flor Office – Rez-de-Chaussée - 10, rue Princesse Florestine
- The benefit application form and all supporting documents must be sent to the CMRC Pensions Department:
- What is the deadline to return it?
- The complete application must be returned within a maximum of 3 months from the date the form is sent, i.e. 15 July 2025.
- What do I have to provide?
- The benefit application form must be returned to the Retirement Department, duly completed and signed.
- It must be accompanied by:
- a proof of subscription to a complementary health benefit contract (mutuelle)
- various supporting documents detailed in the attached document relating to you and your spouse. Social benefits for retirees - Documents to be provided by the claimant and spouse
- a copy (front and back) of your 2024 tax assessment regarding 2023 income.
- What do I need to provide if I have already received the exceptional pensioner's allowance or spouse's allowance in 2024 (2025 campaign)?
- The application form must be returned to the Retirement Department, duly completed and signed.
- It must be accompanied by proof of complementary health insurance (mutuelle).
- You do not need to provide proof of household income (already provided for the 2025 campaign).
- When will I be paid? And how?
- Payment will be made during the final 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2024 for completed applications.
- It is paid by electronic transfer into your usual bank account.
- How much are this benefit?
- Amount: 250.00€
- We are a married couple of CMRC pensioners. Will we each receive an allowance?
- Yes, one allowance per eligible person is granted.
- We are a married couple of CMRC pensioners and we have both received the form. Do we both have to reply?
- Yes, you must each return your form together with your proof or certificate of subscription to a complementary health insurance contract (mutuelle).
- However, only one copy of proof of household income is required if both members meet the eligibility conditions.
