How to obtain, understand and verify my CAR-CMRC career statement

How to obtain, understand and verify my CAR-CMRC career statement

My Career Statement summarises the pension points acquired following a period of employment in Monaco or compensation related to this period.

A comprehensive summary of my professional career, my Career Statement provides me with an overview of the rights I have acquired for my future retirement.
It also allows me to verify that my entire career has been taken into account.
I will need to verify my career before beginning the process of retiring.

Retirement in Monaco

  • If I am employed in the Principality of Monaco, I contribute each month to the basic pension scheme (CAR) and the supplementary pension scheme (CMRC).
  • These contributions enable me to accumulate pension points throughout my career.

Please note:

  • The CMRC (Caisse Monégasque de Retraite Complémentaire) has been my new supplementary pension scheme since 1 January 2024.
  • If I work or have previously worked as an employee in the private sector in Monaco:
Periods worked in Monaco before 1 January 2024, which were previously managed by AGIRC-ARRCO for supplementary pensions, were permanently transferred to the CMRC at the beginning of 2025, based on information provided by AGIRC-ARRCO.
  • If I have worked in France (mixed career):
These periods will continue to be managed by AGIRC-ARRCO for supplementary pension purposes and have not been transferred to CMRC.
